Footer Block "Always at bottom" Option

Add an option to the footer block that will lock it to the bottom of any page, even when a new block is added, the footer block will be the bottom block.
An option like "lock/stick to bottom of page". Then when I create a new page and click on "add new block', the block will be inserted above the footer blocks.

We tried to do it, but it created all sorts of problems with global blocks and it was scrapped. That is because in Brizy you can have multiple footer blocks in the same page, so if they all get stuck at the bottom you will not be able to rearrange them if they are forced below in hardcoded manor (based on order of inclusion in the page). The other option would be forcing a single footer per page / website, but that is another rabit hole altogether.
Sorry for the inconveniece, but this will not be done anytime soon.

Bogdan Condurache: can you add numberlng to blocks and for global blocks be able to set the footer to something like 999999? Instead of a fixed css? Ordering blocks would also be convineint for templating in general, if possible.

Yes, this seems like an obvious behavior, like it should just be that way always. It's a footer, that means it's at the bottom of page. This should be the default behavior – why do I have to drag the new block above the footer every time I create a new page. It's going to be that way 99.9% of the time.

Jds: Yes, you're right. Should be the default. Otherwise it's just a standard block.

Jds Maybe you figured this out by now, click the plus buttons between the blocks where you want to add a block, instead of clicking the one at the bottom of the page. problem solved.
